WHERE ARE YOUR PASTAS MADE?
When our Founder, Joe, was developing the brand , he searched the globe to find the best places to source our raw materials and manufacture our products. Our rice noodles are produced in Thailand. The chickpea and lentil (pulse) pastas are produced in Italy and the bean pastas are made in China. At Explore Cuisine we want to make sure your expectations of high quality are met, all our factories are dedicated and certified organic and gluten free facilities.
What are mung beans?
For thousands of years, mung beans have been used for a variety of purposes. Mung beans originated in India and were cultivated throughout Asia. The mung bean (Vigna radiata) is a plant species in the legume family and is mainly cultivated in India, China, and Southeast Asia. It is used as an ingredient in both savory and sweet dishes. Mung bean sprouts are common in South-East Asian cooking; stir-fry as a Chinese vegetable accompaniment to a meal or uncooked bean sprouts in the filling for Vietnamese spring rolls. Dry organic mung beans are used in our Edamame & Mung Bean Fettucine to give the product the finest texture.
What are Soybeans?
Soybeans (Glycine max) are a species of legume native to East Asia. Soybeans are a great source of protein and they produce significantly more protein per acre than most other uses of land.
We use several types of organic soybeans to give the finest texture to our great tasting bean pastas.
WHAT IS A PULSE?
are part of the legume family and the term pulse refers to the dried seed. Chickpeas, lentils, beans and peas are the most common varieties of pulses. Pulses are typically very high in protein and fiber.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COOK BEAN PASTA? CAN YOU REHEAT IT?
It depends on variety and shape of the pasta. Thin pasta, spaghetti cooks quicker (4-6 min.) than thicker shapes like the fettuccine (5-7 min.). Our products are made with high fiber beans allowing the pasta always stay al dente. The pasta can be kept warm in the pan, reheated or served cold no problem!
DO I NEED TO BOIL THE LASAGNE NOODLES FIRST?
No! They are no boil noodles. Just make sure you put a nice layer of sauce on the bottom of the cooking pot and to cover the lasagne sheets and bake for 40 min. on 200 degrees celcius!

HOW LONG DO I HAVE COOK THE PULSE PASTAS FOR?
In boiling water, the pastas cook up in 8-10 minutes. Drain and pair with your favorite sauce or choose one of our delicious, no fail recipes!
ARE YOUR PULSE PASTAS AND LASAGNE MADE IN ITALY?
Yes our pulse pastas are all made in a gluten-free factory in Italy.
